Diani Tigers Football Club was established in 2020 as part of the giant DTS family! The DTS management identified a gap in the society where young children and youths who were so talented in football were wasted through drug and substance abuse and in the case of girls teenage pregnancies and early marriages.

Bridging this gap and many other factors necessitated the formation of a football club which has over the past few years been actively involved in the identification and development of football talents. DTFC has also been actively involved in community environmental conservation projects such as tree planting, mangrove conservation and beach clean up exercises.

We also provide a platform for the promotion of football talents through participation in leagues/tournaments, professional football training and scouting of talents both locally and nationally. Most importantly we have bridged the gender parity gap by promoting the development of girls' football through our very own Diani Tigers Starlets Football team

DTFC currently has a total of 85 active football players- 45 boys and 40 girls. We target a total of 200 players comprised of 130 girls and 70boys. Most of our players, both boys and girls come from the local community and are aged between 6 and 17 years. DTFC boast a team of thoroughly trained and competent coaches led by senior Coach Sadiq, who ensure that the players receive the right football training to foster their growth.

Certainly the team to beat! DTFC starlets is comprised of young girls with a lot of football talent and potential. DTS Management has provided these girls with the platform to showcase their talent and promote their well being through activities such as regular life skills talks on menstrual health and other vices such as teenage pregnancies, free provision of sanitary towels and payment of school fees for girls from vulnerable families.
